Super Bowl and God’s Glory?

Doug asks a great question:

Since many of you (me included) will be watching the Super Bowl this Sunday, I thought I’d ask this simple question. How will you watch the game to the glory of God? 1 Cor. 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, (like watch the Super Bowl!) do it all for the glory of God.” What’s that look like to you?

  1. The answer is obvious:

    Cheer for the Giants.

  2. I would have to affirm and say amen to B-Lo’s Comment above!!!!

  3. The Pats are the essence of evil, thus advancing the kingdom of God to wipe all of the effects of the curse from midst, we MUST CHEER FOR THE GIANTS. Also, they reside in the NFC East the same conference of God’s favored and elected team – the Dallas Cowboys.

  4. Watching the Giants attempt the near impossible (finish the season with consecutive victories over Dallas, Green Bay, and the Patriots!)

The Patriots can’t be evil, I saw one of their players and one of their coaches together on TBN. … uh … Nevermind… go Giants!
